Hello, I’m Laura
Throughout my life, I’ve had a strong desire to help others and ease their pain. But for a long time, I didn’t have the understanding or tools to help in the deeper way I wanted to.
I’ve experienced my own struggles and reached a very low ebb in life. Despite trying many things and consciously attempting to change habits and patterns, I wasn’t creating the change I longed for. I kept finding myself repeating the same cycles, wondering why trying harder wasn't enough. My journey had taken me through several very different chapters: a Mathematics degree, a career in analytics, travelling the world, motherhood, and eventually retraining and finding my way towards a brighter path.
It was then that I discovered the power of the mind and Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT), and felt drawn to retrain in it. For me, this brought a profound new understanding of myself and the patterns that had shaped my life. It opened up possibilities I hadn’t previously believed were available to me.
Since then, I’ve become fascinated by the mind and continued to develop my knowledge and experience, including further training and certification in Complex PTSD, alongside other areas of study.
There is something deeply meaningful about witnessing someone begin to understand themselves in a new way. Seeing the self-judgement soften, the possibilities open up where there may previously have been a dead end, and a greater sense of connection and trust begin to emerge. It’s a privilege I don't take for granted.
For me, this work isn’t about fixing people or turning them into somebody else. It’s about creating the space to understand what may be shaping their experience outside of their awareness — including the pieces they may not yet have seen — and helping them discover that they often have more choice and possibility than they realised.
My own evolution continues, and I feel excited about what lies ahead — including things I once believed were out of reach. I’ve come to understand that sometimes the path forward involves letting go of the future version of ourselves we thought we had to become: the one shaped by old beliefs, expectations and ideas about who we should be. Instead, we can begin to trust ourselves a little more, become curious, and loosen our grip on what we thought life had to look like. We don’t even need to have every answer or a perfectly mapped-out plan. We can take the next step, discover what becomes possible — sometimes even the dream that never felt achievable — and allow life to unfold in ways we may never have imagined.
That is a journey I feel privileged to be on — both in my own life and alongside the people I work with.
Why I Do This:
I’m passionate about this because I know what it feels like to lose touch with yourself.
I’ve known despair, self-doubt and the feeling that somehow I was failing at life - and even worse - failing those around me. But I also know what can happen when we become willing to turn towards what’s really going on, understand the patterns we’ve been living from, and meet ourselves with compassion rather than judgement.
For me, that journey changed far more than how I felt. It changed what I believed was possible for my life.
I do this to help more people:
feel at home in themselves, rather than constantly fighting, fixing or questioning who they are;
go to bed at night with the quiet knowing that, whatever life brings, you’ll be able to figure it out and find your way through;
understand and shift the patterns that keep them stuck, so they have more choice in how they live;
experience greater calm, connection, self-trust and freedom in everyday life;
create a life that feels meaningful and genuinely theirs — not simply the life they thought they should want;
look back on their lives with a sense of having truly lived them, with pride, joy and few “what ifs”;
feel able to show up fully in the world, rather than hiding parts of themselves or holding themselves back;
and, perhaps most importantly, change what gets passed on — so that future generations inherit greater self-understanding, emotional freedom and healthier ways of relating to themselves and each other.
Because I believe change doesn't just transform one life. It can ripple through families, relationships and generations.
